Design-build allows the owner to work with a single prime contractor/consultant instead of managing separate contracts. The contractor and designer work together from the concept stage to construction to meet the owner’s vision and budget. This reduces the number of requests for information and saves time and money during construction.

    As a sub-consultant, we can provide infrastructure design such as roadways, utilities, grading, and drainage. We work with the contractor during the design process to review and respond to comments at every milestone. During construction, we can perform inspections as necessary to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with the approved plans.

    As a sub-consultant, we can provide drafting services. We use the latest software, such as Civil 3D, to generate surface models, built corridors, and generate pipe networks. Using a BIM model, we can minimize conflicts and reduce the time it takes to make revisions.

    As a sub-consultant, we can provide environmental design services such as erosion and sediment control, stormwater management, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, and outfall restoration. We can provide fieldwork to verify drainage areas, perform sediment control inspections, and perform floodplain analysis.
